This telescopic applicator for stretch film or net —also called a long-arm stretch film applicator or telescopic manual wrapper— is manufactured by Fortemo with an extendable arm that reaches the full height of the pallet effortlessly, designed for warehouses and distribution centers that palletize tall loads every day.

Unlike the standard two-handle handheld applicator, its long-reach telescopic arm lets you wrap from the base to the top of the pallet while standing with good posture, keeping uniform tension on every turn.

Which film or net rolls does it accept?

It accepts stretch film or stretch net rolls 300 to 500 mm wide (30-50 cm) with 38, 50 or 76 mm cores, which covers practically every manual format on the market. The quick-load system lets you change rolls in seconds and get back to work without downtime. If you work with jumbo machine rolls (larger widths or cores), this manual applicator is not the right tool; those rolls are mounted on an automatic wrapping machine.

How is it different from the standard two-handle applicator?

Reach. The standard applicator forces you to stretch or climb a ladder to finish the top of a tall pallet, and to bend down turn after turn at the base. The telescopic arm extends to cover the full height of the pallet while you work standing with good posture, keeping uniform tension on every turn: the top ends up as firm as the base. For low pallets and loose boxes, the standard model remains more agile.

Can it handle full days of palletizing?

Yes. It weighs 1.2 kg, is operated with one hand, and the extendable shaft is reinforced at the load points to stay rigid and keep tension constant at full extension, which is exactly where a low-quality telescopic bends. Pressure adjustment from the handle produces firm pallet wraps with fewer turns and lower roll consumption, which in daily palletizing of tall loads means less operator fatigue and less film used per pallet.

Does it also work with stretch net?

Yes. It is compatible with stretch net in the same roll widths (30-50 cm) and cores (38/50/76 mm) as film. Net is used in agribusiness for palletized loads that need to breathe, such as agricultural and food products, and with the telescopic arm you apply it right to the top of the load without a ladder. The tool does not care which material it is: only the roll changes.
