Es la alternativa transpirable al film cerrado tradicional cuando la mercancía no tolera ambiente sellado durante transporte o almacenamiento.
Son dos productos distintos. El film stretch perforado es lámina de LLDPE extruido con agujeros, con pre-estiramiento alto y adherencia bilateral. Esta malla es tejido Raschel knitted en hilo de cinta extruida HDPE, con estiramiento mecánico moderado y sin cling. La malla ofrece más ventilación y mejor manejo en operaciones manuales; el film perforado sujeta cargas muy pesadas o irregulares con más fuerza por cling. Cada uno cubre un caso de uso distinto.
No es obligatorio, pero sí recomendado. La bobina monta en aplicadores manuales estándar con freno mecánico y núcleo Ø 76 mm, lo que reduce el esfuerzo del operario y permite controlar la tensión al envolver el palet. Sin aplicador también se puede usar para envolver cajas o atados pequeños a mano, pero para paletizado completo el aplicador es más ergonómico y consistente.
La resina HDPE cumple con la normativa FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 para contacto indirecto con alimento envasado. Puede paletizar frutas, vegetales y productos hortícolas frescos sin riesgo de transferencia química, siempre que la mercancía esté en su empaque primario (caja, bandeja o saco). No está diseñada para sustituir empaques de contacto directo con producto sin envase.
Está estabilizada con aditivo UV-HALS y antioxidante para soportar exposición prolongada al sol durante rutas de transporte y almacenamiento al aire libre. No está diseñada para almacenamiento permanente al sol de meses; recomendamos guardarla en lugar seco y rotar el stock como cualquier producto plástico. Para operaciones de transporte estándar en República Dominicana, el comportamiento bajo sol es consistente.
