This tabletop applicator for stretch film or net —also called a desktop film dispenser or stretch film roll holder— is manufactured by Fortemo in stainless steel to dispense film or net rolls up to 500 mm wide smoothly and consistently, ideal for warehouses, factories, logistics centers and e-commerce operations.

It sits on the workbench or mounts on the wall to save space, and its adjustable positioning rings hold different roll sizes with a low-resistance spin that makes dispensing easier.

Which film or net rolls are compatible?

It accepts stretch film or stretch net rolls up to 500 mm (20 in) wide, with a maximum roll diameter of 175 mm. The compatible core is the standard 76 mm (3 in); for rolls with a 50 mm core there is an optional adapter on request. That covers the usual manual formats in Dominican logistics (45-50 cm wide). The adjustable positioning rings hold rolls of different sizes within that range without tools.

Is it only for tabletop use, or can it also be wall-mounted?

Both configurations. On the workbench it works as a mobile packing station you can relocate as the task requires, and it can also be wall-mounted to free up table surface and improve workstation ergonomics, the usual choice in picking stations with tight space. In both setups, the low-resistance roller delivers the film or net evenly, without jerking, to wrap boxes, parcels and small bundles with consistent tension.

Can it handle intensive warehouse use or only occasional packing?

It is designed for intensive use: the structure is stainless steel, resistant to corrosion and to continuous work at the packing station, with a smooth-turning roller that keeps up the pace day after day. That is what sets it apart from a budget dispenser, which rusts and whose roller jams, leaving the roll jerking. It also works for occasional packing, but where it earns its price is in operations with a continuous flow of boxes and parcels.

Does it also work with stretch net?

Yes, it is the same tool for both materials: it dispenses stretch film or stretch net interchangeably, as long as the roll does not exceed 500 mm in width or 175 mm in diameter. Net is the alternative to film when the product needs ventilation (fruit, vegetables, biomass) and is worked the same way from the roller. The difference is in the material applied, not the equipment; no additional accessories are needed to switch from one to the other.
